"The Role of Institutional Research in Strategic Planning Processes" Training Course and Workshop in Oldenburg

A delegation from IIAP participated in a training course and workshop at the University of Oldenburg, Germany, from September 24 to 27, as part of the KPI4HE project. This event focused on the role of institutional research in enhancing strategic planning and key performance indicators (KPIs) in EU universities.

The KPI4HE project, funded by the Erasmus+ program, aims to improve governance and strategic planning in Armenia's higher education system, promoting quality, inclusivity, and sustainability through the development of a national KPI framework, institutional research protocols, and revised accreditation standards.

The workshop included 43 participants from various Armenian universities, led by experts from the University of Oldenburg, Technical University of Dresden, and the University of Genoa. The IIAP delegation featured four members: Hrachya Astsatryan, Vladimir Sahakyan, Hasmik Sahakyan, and Levon Aslanyan.

The program emphasizes both national and specific university-level implementations of KPIs, fostering a two-way relationship for measuring and evaluating educational outcomes. As part of Work Package WP1, the team worked on enhancing governance, strategic planning, and quality in higher education through this training session.
