A Three-Day Workshop Entitled "Regulatory Framework of Doctoral Education" was held within the scope of ARMDOCT Program
On October 14-16, within the scope of ERASMUS+ ARMDOCT /Reforming Doctoral Education in Armenia in Line with Needs of Academia, Industry, and Current EU Practices/ capacity building project, a three-day workshop was held in Tsaghkadzor.
Representatives of the Institute of Informatics and Automation Problems of the National Academy of Sciences, as a partner organization of the project, also participated in the workshop entitled "Regulatory Framework of Doctoral Education"․
The workshop had a broad inclusion of stakeholders. The three-day workshop was also attended by representatives from Armenian and EU higher educational institutions that are members of the program, as well as representatives from the government, the RA Ministries of Economy, HTI, Finance, and Education, Science, Culture and Sports.
After the opening speeches and the presentation of the program, the workshop included active thematic and panel discussions, which allowed the representatives of the sector to highlight the current situation and problems, and the representatives of the highest EU institutions to share their experience.
It should be noted that the ARMDOCT project is an initiative of the French University in Armenia based on the practices of the Erasmus+ "Implementation of a quality assurance system of the third cycle of hogher education in line with the European integration to promote the internationalization of research" (C3QA) project.The duration of the ARMDOCT program is 36 months.
It will operate until 2023.
