On the agenda there is the report of PhD Suren Abrahamyan and PhD Serob Balyan on “3D scanning and its applications” (3D scanning is a method that allows you to obtain the 3D mesh and surface colors of an object using a 3D scanner.The main methods of three-dimensional scanning will be discussed, as well as technologies for obtaining three-dimensional models from the data gathered from 3D scanning, in particular, Photogrammetry. The software solutions developed on the basis of the latter and their modern applications will be presented. These include Augmented & Virtual Realities (AR/VR), 3D animations, 3D printing and others.).
